Bakhmaro
Historically, Bakhmaro was recommended as a resort for the treatment of people with respiratory diseases, tuberculosis, bleeding and neurasthenia. Locals believe that in order to experience the full therapeutic effect, a person needs 21 days of stay at the Bakhmaro resort. Bakhmaro brings health benefits from June to October, and has been discussed as a potential winter resort since 1932 The Georgian government has a proposal to turn Bakhmaro into a four-season resort. Currently, the holiday season in Bakhmaro still lasts about a month and a half, as it did 150 years ago

What experience do you have in conducting these routes?
These routes have been passed several times over the past 5 years. However, it should be borne in mind that the conditions and time of the hike may vary depending on various factors, such as the weather, the preparation of the participants and the rest time.
What is the role of a guide during a hike?
The guide's responsibility includes ensuring safety during the route and organizing other aspects
Is there any preparation before starting the hike?
Before each trip, we provide a list of necessary things and equipment, as well as recommendations on how to choose them. We can rent the necessary equipment for you and provide it at the beginning of the route
What do the categories "Simple", "Advanced" and so on?
Routes in the category "Simple" - are intended for people with little hiking experience and basic physical training. These are trails with minimal obstacles and moderate climbs, suitable for the whole family and beginners. Routes in the category "Advanced" - are intended for hikers with some experience and moderate physical fitness. There may be steep climbs, rough trails, and small obstacles that require caution and little experience
What are the risks of encountering wild animals on the route?
In Georgia, encounters with wild animals, including bears, are possible, but cases of attacks on tourists were extremely rare. Bears usually avoid contact with humans and prefer to stay away.
Can the hike be canceled or changed due to weather conditions?
We check the weather in advance before agreeing on the day of the hike for the best experience and enjoyment. If there is a sharp change in the weather during the hike, then at the discretion of the participants, the hike can be completed ahead of schedule.
Who and how organizes the transfer to the route?
We take care of the transfer to the route. We know the number of participants in advance and choose the best starting and ending point for everyone. The group arrives at the start of the trek in an organized manner and leaves the end of the trek with the guide.
How is security ensured?
On long hikes or with a large number of participants, a second additional guide will be added, who monitors the group from the end. Each guide has walkie-talkies for communication and a group first aid kit
What languages do the guides speak?
Our guides are fluent in English and Russian. We are currently working on expanding the range of languages for visitors to other countries
