Khvanchkara (village)

The village of Khvanchkara in Racha is the birthplace of the famous Georgian wine Khvanchkara, produced from Alexandrouli and Mujuretuli grape varieties. The history of this wine begins in the XIX century, when the Kipiani brothers created a wine that won international recognition.
