Shaori Reservoir
The Shaori reservoir was created in the 1950s at an altitude of 1100-1200 meters above sea level. It is used for hydropower needs and is the largest reservoir in the Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti regions. Surrounded by dense forests and mountains, the reservoir is especially picturesque in autumn, when its surroundings are painted in bright colors. Near the lake there are historical sights, such as Nikortsminda Cathedral.
