Chaalati Glacier

The Chaalati glacier is located near Mestia and stretches for more than six kilometers. This is one of the most popular trekking routes in Svaneti. The glacier is the source of the Chaalati River, which flows out of its foot, forming powerful streams. The path to the glacier passes through a suspension bridge and picturesque gorges. This route of moderate difficulty attracts tourists with its views and accessibility, especially in the summer season.
