The towers served as fortifications and dwellings, protecting against enemies and natural disasters. Today, Svaneti fascinates tourists with its picturesque mountains, ancient temples and traditional architecture. In 1996, Upper Svaneti became a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which confirms its importance as a unique historical and cultural center

Day 1

Departure to Mestia and visiting the surroundings

We leave Batumi at 8-00. On the way, we will stop in Zugdidi for a snack and visit the Inguri hydroelectric power station. Ascent by cable car to Hatsvali, where from the panoramic platform there is a view from above of Mestia and Mount Ushba. Check-in at the hotel and evening leisure with dinner, board games and conversations over a glass of wine

Glaciers, mountains, horseback riding and local food

When we wake up, we go to Ushguli, the highest permanent settlement in Europe and an architectural monument of the UNESCO World Heritage. Here you can ride horses to the Shkhara glacier or walk on flat terrain. If you wish, you can also visit the Chalaadi glacier, passing through a coniferous forest and a plateau, where you can take beautiful photos. We return to the hotel and have dinner at the popular café Laila, which serves delicious meat Kubdari.

Day 2 - Glaciers, mountains, horseback riding and local food

We have breakfast at the hotel. We will have a choice of different activities, but the main thing is to go back to Batumi before 15.00. Visit the House-Museum of Mikhail Khergiani in Mestia, the famous Georgian mountaineer. Here you will see his personal belongings and get acquainted with the life of the ancient Svans, as well as climb the Svan Tower. Walk to the high-altitude lakes of Coruldi with stunning panoramic views of the mountains. Easy hiking in the village of Mazeri and a walk to the Shdugra waterfalls. We return to Batumi, keeping memories of the Georgian mountains. ❤️

The guide's responsibility includes providing accompaniment during the entire tour and organizing other aspects

What languages do the guides speak?

Our guides are fluent in English and Russian. We are currently working on expanding the range of languages for visitors to other countries

What do the categories "Diurnal", "Two-day" ?

Tours in the category "Diurnal" are one-day tours, where the group leaves in the morning and returns in the evening. Tours in the category "Two-day" - suggest that the group may stay overnight in glampings, guest houses or other places to accommodate our participants during the tour

Are private tours available?

Private tours are available, and are organized by agreement with the guide

What costs are not included in the tour?

The paid tour includes transfers, guide services, picnic food, reservation of beds and payment of tickets for some attractions. Other activities outside the tour are paid separately

Who and how organizes the transfer on the tour?

We take care of the transfer to the route. We find out the number of participants in advance and choose the best option for everyone. The group arrives and leaves with the guide in an organized manner
